Welcome!

In this newsletter we’ll explore the process of writing and art--poetry, mostly, but not exclusively. I’ll share some mechanics of my process, topics of interest, and I’ll propose free-writing topics.

I think the most important thing we can do is ask questions and strive to answer them; that’s how we grow as creatives.

I’ve been reading and writing since I was four, for all the same reasons children do anything--it was fun and delighted me. I mimicked a poem when I was in second grade and ever since I’ve loved laying language down on a piece of paper.

I want to share ideas and the process of creative living through various essays, poems and writing exercises. Changes come from questions, vulnerability and connection, all of which I’d like to practice with my subscribers.

This newsletter will always be free—please recommend it to anyone who you think might benefit from it.
